Sachin to bat again!! to lead MCC!!

Cricket legends Sachin Tendulkar and Shane Warne are slated to lead the two teams in an exhibition match to celebrate the 200th anniversary of Lord's.
Tendulkar, who was presented with an MCC Honorary Life Membership in 2010, also said that it will be a privilege to play at the 'home of cricket' once again.

The other Indian star who will be in Sachin's team will be Rahul Dravid. MCC, founded in 1787, moved to its present site in the north-west London suburb of St John's Wood in 1814, with the ground owned by entrepreneur Thomas Lord - hence its name.

Although it is more than 40 years since MCC ceased to run English cricket, it retains worldwide responsibility for the game's 'Laws', as cricket's rules are known.

No Sachin Tendulkar makes life easier for Proteas: SA coach Domingo

Rubbing salt into the wounds after inflicting two humiliating defeats, South Africa coach Russell Domingo declared that it will be easier for the home team to plan against India as visitors lack the "claming influence" of Sachin Tendulkar in their dressing room. 

Tendulkar, who retired from international cricket last month was very successful during India's last tour of South Africa in 2010-11 where he scored two centuries in three Test matches. 

"He was a big player for them and was a calming influence in the dressing room. It will be great not having to get Sachin Tendulkar out," Proteas coach Domingo was quoted as saying by the 'City Press'.
